At 18 Miles per hour, I think I could probably get better fuel efficiency on a bicycle.

You'd think they would have slightly more practical goals, like

Seats four people,
capable of 50 MPH for an extended period of time,
safer than a motorcycle, etc ...

Hi BanditFlyer,

The competition is at 18 mph, but could you go the distance, i.e. 8,000 miles (12,875 km) to the gallon (4.5 litres) to beat the British entry?

i absolutely agree with you Gabriel!realy... i was thinking funny on the spot...if you know what i mean...
beleve me when i say that i am not ignorant....I have a few guesses as what the future will bring....
but beleve me when i say i wont be driving a fossil fuel car like that...or any other fossil fuel based car for that matter...
electric cars are the future at this point in time..
for a car driving people that is....
