Solved: Keylogging, recommended programs?
Hi,
I started a thread back in November on the subject of whether to keylog or not for a teenage daughter....which had lots of discussion. I ended up going with a program and was glad I did. My daughter was doing some very concerning things. We left the program in stealth long enough to find out what we had already suspected. After that, and getting her some help....we left the program installed.....and she knew it, and also approved.

My question now is...she is now using a different computer. The vendor of the program Blazing Software has been previously unresponsive in requests of moving the license from one pc to another. Since it appears that I will be needing to purchase another program I am looking for recommendations. The computer my daughter uses runs win98 se. In order to get the most out of the blazing software, it needed to run on xp.

Does anyone have any other recommendations for key logging software?

How does the Blazing software instal?
Is there online activation that is preventing you from reinstalling to a different computer?

Or an issue that Blazing won't run under win 98se?

Sorry, I have no recommendatins of other software, just curious why the license can't be transferred.

I'd be curious why the license could not be transferred either

After a couple searches -- this program seems to float to the top (I've no direct experience with this application)

You could pickup a copy of KGBKeylogger for $29.95 (on sale):

The installation required a key that is sent by the vendor. I tried using the same key, but it is a single install. Previous attempts to contact the vendor have gone unanswered. If I am going to have to buy another license....I can you it wont be their product!!! I will try to contact them one last time.

Blazing does work on win98, but not all the features. for instance, if you run on xp, the software will capture both sides of instant message conversations. On win98, it just captures the outgoing. I don't really have a problem with that.

Thanks to the others for the recommendations

Well, credit where credit is due. After writing the vendor....Blazing this time wrote back immediately and supported the transfer of the license. They did the right thing and I wanted to make sure that they got credited for this.
