Just out of curiosity, Should we assume he is not a racist? Does being a professor mean he is not a racist? Wonder what kind of IQ tests were given to determine this?

I read a book some years ago that claimed people with light eyes were more intelligent than people with dark eyes. I've met dumb people with all colors of eyes.

I'm not going to read this book. Maybe someone on the Forum will and give us a run down. I doubt it though.

There are most defnitely differences in race, skin color being the most noticable, but far from the only one. Why on earth anyone would expect intelligence to be among those differences is beyond me.

This might have been one of those books I would buy, read, and return, but my reading list is already packed, sorry

Maybe a hapless TSGer will voluteer to give me a crash-course in spead-reading???

BTW, I do not consider Mr Lynn as a racist. He has an evolutionary approach of human intelligence, the same his colleagues biologists have for the traces of intelligence in the animal world (I can't recall the name of that particular branch of biology).
The only danger of his book is it may be used by racist ideologists who will feel backed by the Science to proof they are right.

This is just more of the angry white man rap. You know, we are smarter by nature and we are getting screwed. They should honor our intelligence and stop giving women, blacks, latinos etc an edge on us---Its just plain unnatural.
