It pretty much confirms everything that we already know---that the attack on Iraq was predetermined and that whatever the CIA told the DOA would be ignored. There are about 10 former CIA employees (very high ranking) who pretty much admit that they failed the country by not standing up to Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz. George Tenent---who fought hard to get the White House to understand that Iraq posed no risk, ends up folding like a cheap camera. What amazed me is how many seemingly decent, hardworking people in Langley, caved from the relentless pressure put on them by Darth Vader (Dick Cheney).

One time I spent a fair amount of time trying to find statements by the folks in charge in Germany, France, Russia, Italy, Spain and maybe some other countries, that they think Iraq had WMDs. I couldn't find any--only statements by administration lovers that all these countries thought that Iraq had WMDs. There well may be such statements, but my suspicion is that the characterization by the administration of what these nations thought likely doesn't correlate very well with what these nations thought. I don't recall any effort by the administration to back up its blanket statements with specific examples. And for sure the bland and blanket statements to the effect that "everyone" thought there were WMDs is hogwash, as we are finding out more and more from efforts such as those going into this documentary.

What would you rather have, a president who lied about having sex with Monica or a president who misrepresented the facts in order to take this nation to war? Which should be the more impeachable?

Mulder, let me suggest that you view this documentary then come back and tell us what you think---The vast majority of players in this disgusting little drama are career conservative CIA guys, DOD guys and other people of conscience.

I know a very nice guy who does homeland security, not that I trust them, but I trust him. We have some serious threats against us. The past is the best example that we should not let down our guard.
