LOL---these are the nice Iranians that Xico, Compushlep and Steppenwolf adore!!!!!! What was frightening was the young woman at the end of the article saying that the Beast of Tehran might be right about the Holocaust.

When US forces began liberating death camps and work camps, they would occasionally go into German towns and gather up truckloads of civilians.

They would then march these civilians through the camps and amongst the holocaust survivors, so that they could see with their own eyes the crimes committed by the Nazi regime.

Unfortunately for us - history has a way of being easily forgotten.

You think any of these photos made that exhibit?

War, those pictures had to be doctored by the Zionist entity. Remember, nothing in the world happens without their approval.

Remember, kiddies: The Jews control the world, jihadi splodey-dopes are really valiant freedom fighters, and if you see it on TV it must be true!

The real world: you can't write fiction this good!

These are actually mannequins rendered by the famous trick photographer, Moshe Schwartz.
Did you ever notice that the anit-semitic Holcaust deniers are also the conspriacy theorists? By the way, here is a very good Wikapedia entry---that footnotes references for Xico and his buddies with very good references (unusal for Wikapedia).

He was amazingly ahead of his time wasn't he. Stunning how he managed to get some of those mannequins to actually walk into the mass about to be graves and stand there while some German followed orders and shot them.

Well muslim 'observers' of current affairs have been extremely successful, since they have diverted western liberal attention away from muslim inspired atrocities in Darfur, where deaths have been in the hundreds of thousands, to Lebanon, where deaths are barely 1100.

At short notice, the 'Stop the war' movement can count on thousands of Londoners to grab a placard and hit the streets.

Somebody has clearly been doing their homework.

Historically, the radical fascist left and the radical fascist right have been anti-semitic. Things have changed a bit on the right because the fundamentalist religious groups are in support of Israel (and thus Jews), while little has changed among the whacked out left. Just look at the posters in these forums. You have religious people like Lan etc. who support Israel and defend Jews---and then you have our conspiracy theorist fringe dwelling leftists who can't give up their anti-semitism.

LJ,

Points noted. However human nature being what it is, who supports who, and why etc is extremely fluid.

I have one jewish relative (an aunt) and therefore have no particular reason for supporting Israel. - yet I do.

There was a report here in The Times about the Edinburgh Festival ( an annual event celebrating dancing, music, and comedy.) The reporter noticed a resurgence of anti jewish 'humour' from some of the guest 'comedians' - all had as the core of their act, a hatred of Bush, and a similar sentiement to Israel.

'Throw 'em in the oven.' One heckler shouted.

Oddly enough the comedian in question was a black man, who in all probability would have first to complain at anti negro jokes.

-----

Not sure who it was, but someone once stated 'The further left you go, the further right you become.'

------------

Nevertheless as a keen student of history, I have always wondered at the preponderance of jewish russians at the helm of the Russian Revolution. Trotsky was merely the most well known - indeed your own WW2 General Marshall decribed Trotsky as 'The greatest jew since Moses.'

Why do you think there were (proportionately) so many ?

That is an honest question - NOT an intent to start a dispute !!

I read that story in the Times--fascinating. I think that in Europe, its become okay to drift into anti-semitic "humor", almost applauded. That would never happen in the US because the public outrage would be great, and thousands of pickets would be in front of the theater where the "jokester"was performing. By the way, did you read the letter by the response by the comedian to the article. Here it is:

Anyone who has seen my show, Storm, will realise that it is ridiculous to suggest that I would incite a crowd to play Nazis and Jews. This joke has been taken out of context, and has been totally misquoted. The actual joke is this: "I grew up playing Cowboys & Indians - which as an adult; I can see is very strange; that you market the genocide of an indigenous people as a game for kids. Australians are far from perfect - I've never played Cops and Aboriginals, and you wouldn't play Nazis and Jews!" When you see this joke in the correct context, you can clearly see that what I am actually saying is that it is preposterous to trivialise or make human suffering into a game. The whole message of the show is how the obscenity of war affects every human being on earth. I don't base the idea of human condition on race, religion, colour or creed - just the simple fact that we are all human beings. Secondly, I’d like to point out that the hecklers in my audience are not necessarily a reflection of my beliefs and opinions. I did not actually hear the heckle that has been quoted and if I had, I would have stamped on it immediately. I do not tolerate ignorance and anyone who sees my show will realise the fundamental message is that violence and hatred are detrimental in achieving any type of peace what so ever. Demonising people as though we see them as a threat to our very existence, is based more in propaganda than on an actual achievable goal. Please feel free to come to my show at the Pleasance Courtyard, Edinburgh at 11pm to hear what I am actually saying

LJ,

The root of this is predominantly anti americanism, however there is an element of 'support the underdog' ie Hamas / Hezb.

- Then again, are these people any worse than those who marched in 1968 chanting 'Ho .. Ho ... Ho Chi Minh .... NLF are gonna win,'

To me they are cut from the same cloth.

They are happy to live in a free society which they know they wil never have to shed blood defending.

I have no problems with the anti-war movement, as long as it sticks to the issue of the war, and doesn't overlap into Jew hatred, unwarranted anti-Americanism (the type where America is the root of all evil in the world), conspiracy theories etc. The problem with our small anti-war movement in the US is that it is led by a kook like Cindy Shehan who can't keep her focus on the issue of whether or not we should be in Iraq.
