But many dogmatic people don't like it. Some of those people are religious, some are secular. I think among the more famous of the secular ones that disagrees with it is Richard Dawkins.

Unfortunately, if a person, of any faith, desires to prove or disprove certain items, they can be quite selective and/or skewer results in certain manners.

One piont being, empire and canndy [try to] show correlations between their holy Book and science, yet other holy books, do they not have same correlations? Vast majority of religious writings/books, IMHO, have some shred of evidence - and those with desire can point to just about anything as 'proof'... Of course, back in those times, wasn't quite a bit of the science carried out by religious people?
