I like it right here. Your goal is to belittle another religious text---So here we go:

http://www.answering-islam.de/Main//....html#external

Read this and explain all the internal and external contradictions in the Koran---THERE ARE SO MANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, many Christians don't believe that the Bible are the infallible words of God. I know of very few Muslims who think the same of the Koran!

Everyone, read contradictions in the Quran, really does destroy the claim that this book is the words of God.

I'm not a Christian, but I'll bite.

The errors and contradictions exist because the Bible is a collection of works written by many people over many generations, and since then, it has been modified and translated many times.

fortunately muslims don't have that with the quran... (note: there were some different versions of the quran mainly in recitation & before it was compiled but currently 99% of muslims use 1 version)

one of the famous people who call to islam in the us used to be a priest & used to live in a boarding house... the christians there used to argue about the different version of the bible & one time they asked a muslim guy how many versions of the quran there are & he said 1... the preist came to islam soon after

i think his name is yusuf estes

I used to wonder about many of the things that were listed too. But each and every time they come up, I find more and more plausible answers to explain the perceived contradictions. For example....the color of Jesus robe during His trial. One gospel account has it red and another account says its purple. The answer it simple: theres a color out there that might be considered red or purple. How many times have you disagreed with someone over the color burgandy? I've seen people swear that the color teal is green while others insist that its blue! Red, purple...it doesnt matter and does nothing to take away from what is going on in the passage. And the drink they gave Him....wine tha has been fermented for too long does turn to vinegar...no contradiciton there in calling it one or the other. I've browsed through the list...just about all have reasonable explanations. Some might call the answers convenient but you have to allow the possibility of the explanations given.

and I hate to agree with Linksy because he and I are totally opposed on Christianity but the Quran has contradictions that cannot be explained in any way shape or form, even by Muslims. The errors Muhammad made in relating some of the information he used is embarrassing in a few instances (at one point, he shows Allah actually lying! ) . I'm sorry if that sounds harsh or hypocritical but Quranic contradictions are far harder to explain than the alledged Biblical ones. At least with the Bible...you can see the possibility of the answers.

I dont mean to disrespect your beliefs by saying that...and I dont think you are being disrespectful in pointing out what you believe to be contradictions in the bible either...but in order to talk about them, we both have to be pretty blunt about how we feel, dont we!
