the statements are not in direct conflict with each other... they are scientific or other errors (or so they believe)

i.e.:

Quote:
They say: "Allah has begotten a Son". Glory be to Him! His is what the heavens and the earth contain; all things are obedient to Him. Creator of the heavens and the earth! When he decrees a thing, He need only say "Be", and it is.
—Qur'an 2:116

Who says "Allah has begotten a Son"?
this is an error (or so they believe) not a contradiction

Call it what you want---it proves that the Koran is not the direct words of Allah---Allah doesn't make errors nor does he contradict himself.

i will call it what it is... there is a diffrence between a contradiction and a error

contradiction: i am sleepy but i am fully rested & awake

error: i am fat because i breathe to much

see the difference?
