There has not been one single victory of any sort that I am satisfied with regarding our response to the events of 9/11. It seems to me that most everything we have done has further compounded the tragedy of that day.
The president behaves as though he has some higher destiny ordained by providence and the rest of us are simply incapable of understanding.
I am left only with the hope that our nation can get through the next 24 months of this administration without him dragging our country further down into the abyss of miscalculation. |
A weak man was appointed to the Presidency of the U.S. in 2000. He was elected to the office via an right wing echo chamber that touted how strong a leader he was. But we know he is a weak, weak man in a very powerful office.
And now members of the politial party he leads are waking up. They are beginning to question his stand alone, all by ourselves, I am the decider, strutting across the aircraft carrier deck persona of a weak, weak man.

We need to understand how this weak, weak man lead us to Iraq. We need to understand how he hood wincked us into believing his words.
And above all, we need to fully understand how that echo chamber of the right convinced us that anybody that stood in opposition was weak, unpatriotic and supportive of terrorists.
A weak, weak man backed up by a loud echo chamber placed us in the sands of Iraq.
We have some real problems here entering 2007 and I hope that the President will finally begin to seek counsel from beyond his closed circle of advisors.
