The article started as followed:
Quote:
LONDON (Reuters) - Muslims should be given different treatment on the National Health Service to take account of the requirements of their faith, a doctor said on Friday

It is amazing to see how intolerant religious groups are using Britain's tolerance to impose their dictate.
If some measures are not taken now, this situation will lead later to a civil war.

In Britain, Muslims who want their Islamic schools, their Islamic hospitals, their Islamic laws and courts of justice, their Islamic cemetaries should leave to a country where they can fulffil their Islamic dreams.

Chicon, if you haven't seen it yet watch Children of Men. It takes an interesting look towards the near future and how Britain will position themselves. The movie uses the potential treatment of Muslims to set a very somber outlook for where the world is headed (and this is done by only showing them as a backdrop, you never see a Muslim in the forefront of a scene)

I did not see the movie and I surely missed it as it looks like the kind of movies that don't last more than one week in the theaters.
I hope I can hire it in a video store.

Yes.... let's do that! Let's generalize an entire religion and culture and bash them for their beliefs....what a way to start the day eh?

One of my best friends is Muslim.... and boy let me tell you..... the way he is tolerant and accepting of my religious and cultural beliefs just irritates me to no end. How dare he!

Forget about being tolerant and leading the way toward peace. Forget about leading by example. Let's go get 'em!

'nough said?

I'm not so sure about that .... with the critical raves its receiving and a cast containing the likes of Clive Owen, Julianne Moore and Micheal Caine it will probably hang around for a while. It may not even have played in your neck of the woods yet, I think it's still only out as a limited release playing in select cities.

I thought Professor Esmail gave a really good answer here to the issue at hand!

I am sure many people want to bash me because I am Catholic. And you know how Catholics are! According to popular opinion.... Catholics are the most hypocritical, intolerant, self rightous zealots around. Yep..... that describes me perfectly doesn't it.

I guess I am rather ignorant of the way the world works. I suppose a few bad apples really does spoil the bunch.

I've had a check. It has been released last October in 2 movies connoisseurs theaters far from my home.
The only way I can see it is to hire it in a good video store.
