Barack Obama: I'm fired up and running for president.
Guy makes a one-of-a-kind big speech at a convention and flashes his pretty teeth now thinks he is presidental material.
here's his running mate.

Obama will be blown away by Hillary after California. He did not have to vote on the war in the Senate so we will never know if he would have had the guts to vote no or not.

He is the weakest of the proposed presidential candidates for 2008. He has no resume. We have no proof he can even do anything other than speak, smile and write about himself.

You don’t buy a car without looking under the hood. Right now, common sense says there shouldn’t be enough engine under that hood to pull the load we have to give it. Stop marveling at the hubcaps, and start using your head.

What exactly are you looking for in a resume??

I'm all for common sense, I think he has IT.

Do you have an opinion regarding his positions, or do you just post cartoons, and weak analogies?

What did we see in Bush? .
He could smile ---but not write or speak.
I suppose he can speak --if you can follow it .
Bushes trouble with speaking --a joke for most --is not the problem--its what he says , or is told to say.
Damn, people ! common sense and good intent for our nation/citizens would go a LONG way in securing our future.
It seems to me that Republicans have had a un-precedented chance {unopposed} to handle things, and you see what has happened. They appear not to able to deal with reality.
We need a change --and need it fast. I am just guessing , as is everyone else , that he is most likely to provide it--among other things. Maybe he is exactly what is needed ? . >f

Lincoln didn't have much of a resume either! Lets look under the hood:

1. He is very smart-----Editor of Harvard Law Review.
2. He served in the legislature in Illinois
3. He can actually carry on a cogent conversation on pretty much any subject.

By the way, that pic of Howdy Doody looks so much like Reagan---a smiling idiot.
Thats good enough for me.

I'm glad he's running.

Then, I don't think he could have decided not to without risking his head, with all of the media on him.

I say give him a chance, see what he's got to offer. And quite frankly, he seems pretty fit for it. And well as a discussion went with some friends... "A woman, or a black man for president..." be veryyyy interesting to see what the southerners vote hahaha.
