Good point, but, let me guess, you're not a scientist, are you?

seems interesting as well, that after the feds (not just bush, mind you) insisted on further studies, there is a sudden rash of american scientists who are leaping on some sort of bandwagon to downplay it.....
This is the most interesting part of it for me. I'm always surprised at how little actual merit is present in science. You would think, by your(mine) high-school readings into the topic, and by watching enough of Hollywood's take on it(I have my own opions about that topic, see my sig for proof - In short, now that Bollywood has overcome their fear of non-musicals, Hollywood's days are numbered ), that science is always and unerringly a pure meritocracy. Unfortunately, such is not the case.

but it seems prudent to err on the side of caution.
With the caveat Mulder noted. There have been several threads started on this site in the vein of 'what can I do to help?'

I'm headed over to one of those right now. Hoping you'll join up

Well Bandit ?

Hopefully some day I will understand what you are saying

Also in order to help...it might be better if you know what the problem actually is....

Thanks Gabriel,

You keep me in check. I usually( ) make sense to myself, but ...

That's not quite enough, is it?

I'm reading over what I wrote and trying to see if there is a different way to put it.

You're right, it's kinda tough. I can't think of a way to rephrase it ...

I'll come back to it later.
