It's the 3001st post, but it's the 3000th reply (which doesn't include the first post).

Okay, now ..... who's got the cojones to jump up and blame the inactivity on man-made global warming.

Season ain't over, and while it offically ends 30 November, could still happen until end of the year due to the warmer climate. Really too bad it's been a slow Atlantic and Pacific season...........the east and west coasts could have used some rain, particularly Georgia.

It just goes to show the complexity of weather prediction, climate change, etc. is far more difficult because we don't yet have a fully understood model of all of the variables involved.

Like the butterfly wings fluttering in the warm breeze of a South Pacific isle - once again LAN rolling his eyes has had an adverse affect on our weather!

hey, I'm not complaining.....I live down here on the Gulf, and a slow hurricane season is cool by me.....

we did have the weirdest hurricane in history, and one that frankly worries me a bit, in that it formed in about 24 hours right off the coast of Texas. Pretty sure that's never happened.

Thumbs down Faux climactic issues
2 things...

1. Al Gore did NOT deserve a piece of the Nobel Peace Prize Pie

2. I seriously doubt that we have any good aggregate amount of data to conclude that global warming is as big of threat as the slippery politicians would have us believe!

1. Whether Al deserved it or not is a moot point.............he has a share.
2. Yeah, right. The melting ice polar caps are no indication. Must just be political rhetoric. Lan will be along shortly to 'root' you on.
