I believe I told you in a previous message in one of these CD threads - I'm on dialup and videos are just not possible since I do not have the bandwidth to view them.

P.S. I get your drift anyway.

Some exceptional points are made. You should suffer the dialup delay and watch it.

Was Al Gore Right? New Theory On Global Warming And Hurricanes
Article here.

Al Gore showing pictures of the Hurricane Katrina disaster without coming right out and claiming global warming caused it was a little too clever for some atmospheric scientists but a group of University of Wisconsin-Madison researchers have found that Atlantic hurricanes may be more vulnerable to climate change than the world's other hurricane hot spots.

Very Active 2007 Hurricane Season Predicted

ScienceDaily (Apr. 3, 2007) — The U.S. Atlantic basin will likely experience a very active hurricane season, the Colorado State University forecast team announced today, increasing its earlier prediction for the 2007 hurricane season.

The team's forecast now anticipates 17 named storms forming in the Atlantic basin between June 1 and Nov. 30. Nine of the 17 storms are predicted to become hurricanes, and of those nine, five are expected to develop into intense or major hurricanes (Saffir/Simpson category 3-4-5) with sustained winds of 111 mph or greater.

....................

The Calm After the Storms: Hurricane Season 2007

As the relatively mild 2007 hurricane season winds down, Brendan Loy reflects on the the dire preseason forecasts. He doesn’t think they were dishonest or inflated - they were simply wrong. Why? He offers a variety of meteorological reasons that have nothing to do with Al Gore and everything to do with luck and the unpredictability of weather.

too many variables. The best computers on the planet still can't accurately model weather, which, to come full circle, proves the point that we have no freakin' clue as to what is going to happen when the heat sink tips over.

Toll of climate change on world food supply could be worse than thought
Article here.

Global agriculture, already predicted to be stressed by climate change in coming decades, could go into steep, unanticipated declines in some regions due to complications that scientists have so far inadequately considered, say three new scientific reports.

That happening might just be the trigger for more evaporation into the atmosphere causing global COOLING!

That's a phase change, not a loss of energy.....more like a relocation of energy that becomes an unpredictable factor.

They are moving houses off Texas beaches as we speak due to erosion and rising waters. Whatever the fault, the water is rising.
