#3918 | When seas get hot, fish get lost
Article here.
Researchers examining Australian damselfish have found small fry with asymmetrical ear bones are less likely to make it back to their reef homes after a stint out at sea (research paper, press release). As warmer and more acidic oceans are likely to result from global warming, more fish are going to be swimming around lost.

A European Union summit promised to push through legislation within 12 months to impose ambitious targets to reduce the 1990 level of carbon emissions by one fifth by 2020. The European leaders also pledged, however, to take action, if necessary, to counter unfair competition from less eco-friendly countries, such as China or the United States.
The French President, Nicolas Sarkozy, suggested that this could mean "carbon" taxes on manufactured goods from nations which refused to take radical action against global warming.

#3923 | Climate Change Takes Bloom Off Wildflowers
Article here.
Fewer flowers may grace the slopes of the Rocky Mountains as global warming's earlier springtimes make blooms more vulnerable, a new study suggests.
And the consequences may be ...
Other species, especially certain types of insects, depend on the flowers for food. Other bugs, in turn, eat those insects. So the loss of seeds and flowers could propagate through the food chain.
“What will replace these colorful flowers? We don’t know,” Inouye said. “But we know that many animals depend upon them, and so the outcome could be quite dramatic.”

Well, at least we can agree on one thing. | But you made a claim you then recanted.
Each time, you presented it as your argument.
I think you can't be trusted on these issues, Mike.
You reject the science of the issue and embrace political bloggers.

The hypocrisy is deafening. | Yes, it is.
I never did understand how you could derive that 50year claim .......even after posting those flaky graphs.
Made no sense unless you were reading another political blog site.
So far, all I brought to your attention was that there are through out the temperature records, yearly recorded anomalies which your sources represented as general trends.
