Statements such as that, in my opinion, do more harm for the Republican cause than good. As for my political leanings. Well, that can change from one general election to the next, depending on the various manifestos issued. Thumbs up for true democracy

As a neutral observer here, I don't see hate in those views that oppose yours, but I do see a certain degree of compassion. A compassion for your troops, their families and friends. Or perhaps I only see things through rose coloured spectacles

You also appear to forget that I am ex Military myself. In other words, been there, done that .. point taken ?

Oldie...the "HATE" word is used on this forum more than I have heard it used anywhere else. The word has lost it's significance here, IMO.

You are out of order and have been for years with your continuous attack on both British and American troops. All one has to do to see your hate is to go read the thread where you attempted to disparage two American servicemen and the entire US military with a leftist hack article completely devoid of any facts and which I proved was entirely innacurate. You were totally out of order for making that thread and should be ashamed of yourself for it.
Ooops a daisy .. you've obviously added to your post since I previously quoted you. Well well well .. let the readers now decide for themselves shall we?. Oldie, ex Royal Navy. Oldies son served 12 years with the British Army, including two postings in Northern Ireland. Our grandson is serving with 42 Commando Royal Marines.

For the benefit of any readers who are confused, this is the thread Mulder is referring to GO HERE. A breaking news item of fact plain and simple. Yet Mulder accuses me of disparaging our troops. LOL the guy is an absolute bloody cad of the first order

I don't know about me being on drugs young man, but I'm still licensed to prescribe should you require I also have a neighbour (Billy Connolly) who's wife Pamela has a practice in LA. She is an eminent psychologist. Would you like me to make an appointment for you

Mulder served in the Boyscouts. The closest Mulder has been to the battlefield is aisle 4 at the local K-Mart trying to beat one of his neighbors for the Blue Light Special.

What gets me is that the National Intelligence Estimate categorizes the conflict as a civil war & still POTUS doesn't get it. Forget how we got there, let's deal with the here and now. We left Vietnam and felt decades of a sense of defeat. Now we're doing business there, former combatants are meeting each other. We don't control the world with our democracy & our power. And as a former Marine I know that the troops over there put there lives on the line for us to have our freedom of speech.

What ever happened to the principle of: "I disagree with what you are saying but would defend, with my life, your right to say it."

Much as I regret it, this means Mulder too. Why do you have to call peoples opinions stupid & personally attack just because you disagree with them. You too Mulder.

The here and now and the well-being of the American soldier is of little concern to the chicken-hawk neo-con. Its all about ideology.

And that makes your attempt to disparage the military pilots even more despicable, IMO.

That beats being drafted and then whining about it afterwards for the rest of my life--you didn't have a choice Linsky--there's a big difference.

Fact? That's garbage--the only "facts" from the article you posted was description of the event that occurred--the rest was a hatchet job that completely distorted the event. You posted it for a specific purpose--to disparage the pilots and to disparage the US military. You'd love nothing more than emasculate both the United States and its military--that's your real goal--the rest of your rhetoric is a facade.

LOL! "neutral?" You're about as neutral as Linsky. I can't believe you can say that with a straight face! From what I've seen you post, you are anything but neutral. Why don't you show some intlellectual honesty and admit you're a liberal who'd love nothing more than to see the United States taken down a few notches--then maybe we can have an honest discussion. I make no bones about my position--its to expose people like you for the political hacks that you are.

BTW--who do you have "compassion" for and how does anything you posted here (or anywhere) show compassion? And how do you profess the compassion should be shown?
