Pray Every Day for Justices Ginsberg and Stevens
This decision just came out today. It indicates why we must pray that Ginsberg and Stevens survive the Bush administration:

WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court ordered the federal government on Monday to take a fresh look at regulating carbon dioxide emissions from cars, a rebuke to Bush administration policy on global warming.

In a 5-4 decision, the court said the Clean Air Act gives the
Environmental Protection Agency the authority to regulate emissions of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases from cars.

Greenhouse gases are air pollutants under the landmark environmental law, Justice
John Paul Stevens said in his majority opinion.

The court's four conservative justices — Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices
Samuel Alito,
Antonin Scalia and
Clarence Thomas — dissented.

LOL! This isn't about carbon dioxide emissions--its about the Court ordering the federal government--that's not their job. Why don't you link to the opinion--I'll guarantee you its liberals on the court wanting to promote social policy through the court instead of through the legislature--that's really what the dissent is about.

I agree with Stevens completely. Read the ruling and then pray for his health!

Of course you agree because you're a liberal and you like the fact that liberal judges legislate from the bench. You like the fact that you can get leftist political goals realized there when you can't get them at the ballot box--you can circumvent the political process--this comes down to what's "right" in your mind as compared to what's "right" under the law. Having a great deal of respect for the law--and you having virtually none--I don't think that judges should be subsitituting their judgment for the people--you do--its that simple.

Yup, merely telling the Bush administration to respect the legislation of the US Congress--in this case the Clean Air Act. The four right wing maniacs who want the Bush administration to have carte blanche voted against it. Poochee, pray for the two aging justices. If Bush names one more our country in very deep trouble.

I am praying that they retire immediately!! They are complete fools that don't have a clue as to what the Constitution says or what the Supreme Courts role in our government is! Get out now! We need to return to the Constitution as it was written. If you don't like it, get an amendment passed!!

They are very learned jurists, with fantastic experience. Now if God allows them to live for another two years, then God will be telling us that he doesn't approve of right wing justice!

I am ticked off at the SC

They refused to hear a case in MI brought on by a bunch of stinking whining people thanks to Title IX . Never mind that there was no merit to the lawsuit whatsoever and no real discrimination could be proven. Due to moronic judges the high school sports programs in MI will be a mess.
