Terror Plot Foiled
I want to congratulate the authorities for their fine work in this case. You fight terrorism using intelligence and law enforcement.

6 charged with plot on Army post in N.J.

By WAYNE PARRY, Associated Press Writer 12 minutes ago

Six Islamic militants from Yugoslavia and the Middle East were arrested on charges of plotting to attack the Fort Dix Army post and "kill as many soldiers as possible," authorities said Tuesday.

White House spokesman Tony Snow said Tuesday there is "no direct evidence" that the men have ties to international terrorism.

"They are not charged with being members of an international terrorism organization," Snow said. "At least at this point, there is no evidence that they received direction from international terror organizations."

The FBI was tipped off to the group in early 2006 after someone brought a video to a store to be copied onto DVD, according to the agency's criminal complaint. The video showed 10 men, including the six arrested, shooting assault weapons in militia style and calling for jihad, the complaint said.

It's not the dumb one's that worry me, it's the zealous intellectuals who are our greatest threat. When they start crossing our porous borders is when the spit is going to hit the fan.

Hearing on Friday
They appeared in federal court Tuesday in Camden and were ordered held without bail for a hearing Friday. Five were charged with conspiracy to kill U.S. military personnel; the sixth was charged with aiding and abetting illegal immigrants in obtaining weapons.

Four of the men were born in the former Yugoslavia, one was born in Jordan and one came from Turkey, authorities said. All had lived in the United States for years. Three were in the United States illegally; two had green cards allowing them to stay in this country permanently; and the sixth is a U.S. citizen.
Whaddya say, Linsky? Illegal immigration's no problem, right?

I thought it was funny they were so stupid to take their video of terror training to a outlet to be made into a DVD , kudos for the alert store employee.

They actually took it to a Kinkos! As far as illegal immigration goes, how the heck did this government allow these miscreants into this country? Where the heck was the INS? Who is running this government anyway?

They changed names. Now it's something like ICE. The name change has caused issues with software that have yet to be resolved, thus resulting in the influx of 12 million illegal emigres. System glitch, we'll have it up and running in no time. errrm, don't take that literally.

You're all going to love this... I read the other day, forget where, about a problem ICE is having with people reporting to be deported as ordered. They refer to the as "absconders" and there are some 637,000 of them.

I think I read somewhere, where a couple of them came in during the Clinton administration. The freedom flights from Kosovo...

FORT DIX, N.J. — The three brothers being charged as part of the alleged Fort Dix terror plot may have been smuggled across the border, FOX News has learned.

Dritan "Anthony" or "Tony" Duka, 28; Shain Duka, 26; and Eljvir "Elvis" Duka, 23, were in the United States illegally. Federal investigators were exploring whether they were smuggled into the country or entered as stowaways.
Because the three men entered the United States without inspection, there is no legal record of their entry.

Actually, it was a Circuit City...

Circuit City employee was hero in busting terror plot

Home News Tribune Online 05/9/07
By MATT KATZ
GANNETT NEW JERSEY
A male employee who works at Circuit City behind the Moorestown
Mall is the unsung hero that first enabled authorities to foil the
Fort Dix terror plot.

Circuit City corporate spokesman Jim Babb confirmed this morning
that a current employee was asked by one of the alleged terrorists
to dub a Jihadist training VHS cassette into a DVD.

The clerk alerted Mount Laurel police about the video in January
2006, who then contacted the FBI, which launched the investigation.
Story cont...
