They did a few studies once ( ill try to find the link ) of CNN news watchers and Faux I mean Fox news watchers and found that the CNN watchers were 10 times more educated and knew much more about politics and the world around them than the Fox news watchers.

Ive also noticed most republicans are very ( overly in my opinion ) religious and try to push religion on everybody. I think thats wrong but I hate religion so im kind of biased on that.

So basically....

Republican = dumb, fat, redneck, wal-mart shopping, nascar watching, fox news brainwashed viewer, gun toting, kill em all mentality, intolerant, cant think for themselves

Democrat = Fruity, hippy like, sandal wearing, tree hugging, weed smoking, grateful dead listening, prius drivers

No thanks to either

Jeff Dufour and Patrick Gavin cover people, power and politics in the beltway.
Moore: GOP bears number of the beast
November 7, 2:06 AM

Healthy debate?

The GOP isn’t just misguided, according to controversial liberal filmmaker Michael Moore —it’s downright satanic.

Moore appeared via satellite at the National Press Club on Tuesday to promote the DVD release of his documentary “Sicko” and push for Rep. John Conyers’ national health insurance bill, HR 676.

“Remember, it’s 676,” said Moore. “666 is the other people.” Snap!

Senate Republicans bar Iraq withdrawal plan

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Senate Republicans on Friday blocked a $50 billion Iraq war bill that included a troop pullout plan, killing the latest Democratic attempt to end the war while keeping up the fight over its funding.

Voters to replace Hastert twice

Former U.S. House Speaker Dennis Hastert's impending retirement means voters in his northern Illinois district could get to do things the old Chicago way: Vote more than once for the same person.

The Illinois Republican is leaving office early, so the district's voters will cast ballots in special and regular elections to fill out Hastert's term and find a full-time replacement. Depending on the timing, that could mean voting twice for the same person on Election Day in February.

You making this a Rep issue??

I am sure that the Dems would do the same.

It is moronic given the fact the term is only 2 years to begin with.

The Republicans continue to support a war that the majority of Americans want out of. Never complain about the Democratically controlled Congress because the Idiot and Chief and the right wing of his party will stop any legislation that seeks to end this war.

Wrong again

The congress could have done what the Dems are now threatening with regard to authorizing funds. The Rethugs can't force a vote to insure those funds.

The chickencrats lied to get elected and don't have the will to take a stance.

they have been stringing out the war in the effort to make it an election issue next year.

Political BS being played on both sides of the aisle.

Did not your heartthrob, Madame Pelsoi, declare that ending the war was her number one priority upon her ascendancy to the throne?
Did not Harry Reid a/k/a Chicken Little ("The war is lost! The war is lost!") declare that upon the democrats taking control of the Senate the war would be ended?

Seems to me you got two choices: Either you're real stupid or they lied to you. Which is it?
