Hey katonca, things are good. Went to my grandkid's soccer game this evening and didn't have to use the umbrella...And, BTW, I have run into batteries reversing polarity numerous times, and the manufacturers' answers never seem to answer it...(However, I believe it's a breakdown in the physical composition...)

That's crossing the line on two points. First of all Skivvy is nowhere near a troll. Disagree all you want but this member is a respectful, and respected, one in fine standing. It is bad form to barge into a forum and immediately start bad-mouthing members just because they question your point of view. Please learn the difference between debating and a shouting-match.

It is not "just the internet". Please understand that what you call the internet is as real as your everyday life. Interact with the person online as you would with anybody you meet in your everyday life. Read my sig: earn respect - it isn't a birthright. That person you verbally attack online, behind the anonymity and safety of your monitor, could very well knock you on your arse if you dared speak to him in the above fashion in person. Cowards have no friends.

This may very well be a free country and one may very well think what ever one wants to but one does not have carte blanche to say whatever one wants. Freedom of speech is not an absolute right and it certainly is not in this forum. We are all here under the understanding that membership is a privilage, not a right. Respect that, and the other members, and you will enjoy a long and satisfying membership. If not, don't let the door hit your arse on the way out.

You are correct. It is genetic, not a life style choice the battery makes. Is it a sin when a battery swaps polarity would make a good thread.
