Question American & Social Europe
Reply to Balzac comment on other countries

I do not have worries about health care when I am old.
I do not have to worry about paying for the education and health care of my kids or my elder parents.
I do not have to worry about my government taking control of all my right.
I can meet the head person of my country any time with in a reasonable notice.
The head person of my country can walk the same streets like me with out security guards around them.
Every country we go to has a welcome for us.

Now you were saying about American and Europe.
By the way, I live in Europe.

Far be it from me to endorse LJ's scurrilous attack on your sobriety, but he has a point.

The UK fails hands down every one of your points.

well, that depends. If the person would LIKE a lot of spam, then by all means it's a wonderful idea. On the flip side, if the person would prefer no spam, then yes, it's an extremely bad idea to post one's email in a forum.

I like posts that start like this. There was a member here a while ago who gave me several excuses to post various Monty Python scripts, mainly consisting of the Four Yorkshiremen and the misunderstanding translation book.

Actually, I was commenting on your hairstyle. Sufficient for the upcoming yuletide, but I think you'll want to de-Rastafarianize it for summer - it gets hot.

My de-Rastafarianizing comment still stands nonetheless.

Hairstyles know no bounds. Even bad taste is universal.

I recall an old movie staged in Ireland- the inebriated person had proof he had trapped an elf-"for here is the very sack I caught him in".
