Would you join a fraternity?
People join fraternities because they want to free accepted socially around others, they feel peer pressure, or they want to just have something to do in their spare.
People who don't join do so either because of the cost of joining, fear, or they are anti-social.

Would you join a fraternity?

I wouldn't thrive well in an isolated social environment......unless it is very open ended

Wouldn't if I had the choice again.

We should add a poll to this thread

Would you join a fraternity?
Or because they don't need to pay to have friends!

It has been stated that people who are anti-social have a hard time wife life, with jobs, and with relationships. Not all fraternities haze candidates. Some fraternities let new members pay a little money at a time until their dues is paid up.

Not all people who join fraternities are social....not all people who don't join are anti-social....
Fraternities hold no attraction to many people.
Being anti-social is not the main criteria for not wanting to join a fraternity

These are true statements.

I never joined a fraternity, but I would join now. I'd rather meet people through an organized group then randomly downtown.

If the fraternity was a gateway into a local business arena I wanted to get into, yes. Otherwise not.

But then again, I guess I'd -have- to say no, 'cuz I bullshat and lazied myself out of going to a university in the first place.
