She just disclosed she's racist.
She just called him an "african-american".

We all know that the term african-american is NEVER, EVER used to denote dual citizenship. It is used to denote race. She's not a nationalist, but a racist.

You go with that Adam's apple you got!!!

Hi fidelista.

I'll try to explain a little more clearly with interlinear...

"She just called him an "african-american"."
She = HR Clinton
just = reference of time
called = referred to verbally, i. e., with words
him = direct object pronoun. Clinton, referring to o-bama.
an = article. (I don't know if it's definite or indefinite)
african-american = compound reference to citizenship, misused as a reference to race.

That's an explanation of my statement.

Perhaps tho' you were tryin' to imply that you didn't hear the statement as she stated it???

Just in case you still don't...
HTML Code:
" ...the day when an African American and a woman were competing for the presidency."

Found "African-American" ½ a dozen times @ http://www.time.com/time/nation/arti...581666,00.html

So, now "Time" is racist?

Let's hope this site doesn't get accused of "promoting" libel.

I looked up what was said and I guess I just don't understand what problem is . >>>

A continent away last Friday, in an empty classroom inside the sprawling Electrical Training Institute of IBEW Local 11 in Commerce City, Calif., I read Bing's words to Clinton, who, while she listened, took a sip of water and nodded knowingly, a look of recognition in her eyes. She had heard this before. "I understand that," she said. "What a good problem to have. Two leading candidates for president, a woman and an African-American, who are being viewed, I hope, on our merits, our qualifications, our records, our plans, our vision. I don't think it's easy for either of us. And I really commend Senator Obama for the very graceful way that he has navigated this campaign. I wish it didn't have to be a choice. I think a lot of people who are torn between us feel that way."

OK, she is woman , and he is black , both have political implications in this election.
She has asked that merits, qualifications, records, plans, vision are considered .
Whether that statement was honest , is not the question. What makes Clinton so racist for that comment ?
Seems to me that racism and anti-semitism are charges that are thrown around pretty freely .
Not that I have a problem with the racism charge , I love it when white people trip over themselves defending minority .
A hint -- a racist is obvious , not someone who makes joke , uses forbidden words, or doesn't follow some Politcally correct terms .
I know , have been around a long time.
I am not a fan of H.Clinton , but , people like you are a pain in arse.
We, hispanic , or black , don't need your protection, but carry on , its entertaining ! >f
