Unconstitutional Acts to Protect the President from Protestors
Article here.

In the waning days of this administration's tenure, President Bush's lack of interest in opinions contrary to his own is as striking as ever. Most recently in New Mexico, a group of peaceful demonstrators was removed from the president's sight, continuing the administration's long-held tradition that dissenters should be neither seen nor heard. Sound undemocratic? Indeed.

Actually, when I think about it....they are being provided more publicity when they are removed.

This is old news, part of the Patriot Act is to require you to be in Certain protest areas if they are setup, in this way the protest areas can always be made to be away from whoever doesn't want a protest.

This law was used to greatest effect in 2004 at the Rep Conv. in NY. 45000 individuals were arrested and held without food for days on the pier.
