I think ... it's doubtful that this is the yang to that other thread, syphilis being a physical illness 'n' all.

Plus, if these guys are anything to go by, I'd say it's unlikely that your average neocon gets much on the basis of looks.

Wasn't there a thread once about the attitude of hard-right types being down to psychological damage caused by repressed upbringing? That might be a better angle.

Well young man, mental illness is a physical illness, it involves the brain. I guarantee you that if you MRI'ed the two lawyers brains (or what is left of them) you would find areas in the cortex that were not functioning properly. To your point, yes, most of these wingers are damaged as youth-----totally repressed. Thats why so many of them are involved in perverted sexual behavior and great hypocrisies. Rumor has it that Senator Craig's MRI shows many "hot spots" particularly in the area of the brain that controls primitive behavior.

I pose a simple question, intended as open and honest debate and not meant to start any pointless argument about Israel: neither is this intended to be "anti" anything.

Since you quite obviously feel the US NeoCon movement and NeoCons reprehensible, with which I completely agree, how do you personally reconcile the absolute reality that so many of the current gang of NeoCons (who are steering US policy and particularly US Foreign Policy) are fervent and committed Zionists?

The two realites cannot equate.
