This is a public poll--so your vote will be duly noted.

Hey iltos my man, can you please delete this thread and I'll start a new one (or make it public if you can do that before too many votes are cast.

I cast one of those votes and I have no problem with it being public, iltos.

I have a question.
I see it as politically motivated, and with intent or purpose.
I must say if my daughter had gotten her way, and were shipped over there and killed, and I clicked on that thread and saw her pic there with historic profile, it would piss me off.
Is that the kind of purpose or intent meant here? To get me pissed off again at the stupidity of war?
When I visited the thread, it made me feel sick. I hated the thought of the tearing open of scabs to get a point across.
Can someone tell me if they are being honored by this thread, or used like cannon fodder to tear at people and piss them off?
If it is about pissing me off, do not use other peoples babies either to do it

A large part of me feels that way.....and that was my initial thought when viewing the thread....I am sorry if my feeling is in error....
and I am stuck in the limbo of not knowing how to vote

The thread with pics and profiles is by Sarge. I believe that poochee's thread is the one the OP intended to target.

Beautifully ironic, so maybe we should demand the the Honor Those Who Servered thread be closed due to objection(s). I'm sure the M major whinner will argue this is different!

John, you're a mod -- some advice please.

If the poll result is a big "Yes", will poochee's thread be closed? See, I'm wondering whether this thread -- the one I'm posting in right now -- serves any useful purpose. So if there's going to be a "system" whereby non-"useful" threads are closed ...

Ironic isn't by definition wrong! What makes you think I criticized you?
