Come on stiffex.....give us a little credit here....sheesh. There's pleanty of doubt. DId you even think about what you said before you typed it? There are so many women (and men too) here that can't stand Hillary. In fact, I'm pretty sure if she ran against John McCain she'd lose.

John Mc Cain is a tried and tested fully paid up card carrying hypocrite and Hilary has worked with womens groups for years and theres a silent majority of American women who see her as royalty and inside the concept of having a woman run for President is a power you have not seen the likes of and I just think women everywhere will get caught up in the euphoria, because at the heart of every woman is a suffragette waiting to break out.

Sure there are people who hate her but not enough to stop the band wagon once it gets rolling. I think the thing that is hurting her the most is her association with Billous Lascivious.

stiffex.....what qualifies you to know what every woman has in her heart
I don't think you know about women at all

And, although I disagree with almost everything you've said....I do enjoy learning new words: suffragette

*sorry poochee -

Here we go....

Quick definitions (suffragette)
noun: a woman advocate of women's right to vote (especially a militant advocate in the United Kingdom at the beginning of the 20th century)

Maybe he was comparing it to a bodily function. An honest reaction to what happens after you post.

You're sure fiesty today......Yes bman......I've heard of that I've just never heard anyone ever use that word (suffragette) before.

I just didn't get this comment that he made ( I just think women everywhere will get caught up in the euphoria, because at the heart of every woman is a suffragette waiting to break out.) Its just untrue and sounded strange to me the way it was worded I'm a woman who votes and I don't see how that would include me. Inless, he just said it as a lighthearted comment?

America had their own Emmeline Pankhurst called Elizabeth Cady Stanton I wonder if youve ever heard of her skates ?
Maybe you take voting for granted skates, maybe your comfortable in your chains, I hope your not a microcosm of the Greater American woman because the only thing that gets women elected is women. Men dont vote for women, men dont like taking orders from women and men are generally unhappy about women in higher positions and thats a fact of life that never changes, dont tell me youve never heard of the glass ceiling, maybe you will bump your head on it pretty hard one day and the suffragette in you will wake up.

Why even try to reply to Stiffex's rants:
-"maybe your comfortable in your chains"
-"the only thing that gets women elected is women"
-"Men dont vote for women"
-"dont tell me youve never heard of the glass ceiling,
maybe you will bump your head on it pretty hard one
day and the suffragette in you will wake up".

For the record:
I really like my chains
Men do vote for women
And I have a hard head and am not worried in the least in bumping it
As far as the "suffragette" in me.....I don't believe there is one

I don't think women in the US have any problem voting or running for office these days. The Sufferage issue is really passe' now isn't it or am I missing something? I would never choose to vote for a person solely because of their sex. Thats crazy. Would all old people vote for mccain? Would all black people vote for Obama? Would all women vote for Hillary? The answer is NO.. That formula doesn't work, think about it.
