Was I supposed to read the whole post?

I don't have the time, space or inclination to find used vegetable oil and process it. I have a 2 car garage that barely can fit the two cars after all the other stuff is put away and I am not gonna park outside in the winter.

plus there is only a limited supply of biodiesel. won't take long for supplies to run out.

and again i do not want a pick up. unless you get a monster one there is not enough room for a family to travel. Pick ups are a no go and there are no other diesel vehicles out there to fit the bill that I know of.

If I could find some info on the reliability of the Vue Greenline I would consider that but doubt I will find a used one.

I didn't see that part of your above post (still don't ). Is it legal in all states to make biodiesel at home?

It is legal to make your own moonshine so long as it is for your own use. Same for gasoline. Theoretically, you can make your own, just not sell it. And yes, it is legal to make your own biodiesel.

Jeep Grand Cherokee has a diesel version, as is the Jeep Liberty.

A diesel (along with a properly made biodiesel formula) will get 20-40% better fuel economy on average, sometimes better than 50%. I knew a guy in South Carolina who bought a Dodge Ram and the gasoline engine got 9mpg whereas the diesel got 20mpg.
