Conservatives in Disarray
Many are saying that we conservatives are unorganized.

True, many of us do not like our candidate, but it is the one given us.

I believe he will soon have a message. One that will promote the benefits of having the leadership of George Bush around. Mc Cain will come to understand that he has promoted the Bush agenda for so long and that maybe he should come right out and claim its goodness.

Once he does that he will gain the support of many, many Americans. Especially those that have sent their children into Iraq.

He will gain the support of those that believe that energy conservation is a weakness and that drilling our way and consuming what we drill as fast as we can is the way to economic security.

He will gain the Americans that now believe owning a home is not what it is cracked up to be. Why should we spend our time cleaning gutters when we could be doing something worthwhile.

I don't think we are in complete disarray yet, do you?

No, no. It is because the administration is not talking about how we have benefitted from their policies.

If they are too modest, then Mc Cain must step up and tout all he has supported of the Bush Administration.

The American people will then begin to realize what they have done to us.

And when you combine stupidity with ignorance that’s a toxic combination," he said.

No doubt in my mind which, but I do think s/he is not happy w/GWB and friends.

Speaking of which, I'm as nervous as GWB among semi-illiterates...............installing XP SP3 on one of my computers.

I downloaded the 300+ mb file from MS and had no problems.
My comp does seem a bit snappier than before.
I did hear there were some issues with HP comps, though.

It went well (so far). Made through a couple of reboots and seems to be functioning well. I did it through Windows Update (although I have downloaded the 315.4MB file). I'm still a little wary about loading on my business desktop and laptop even tough all major business items are backed up.

Thought I'd add.......the only recent update I've had troubles with was Firefox 3.
There are several sites I frequent where slow and stuttering scrolling became a severe issue....to the point I reverted back to FF2.

http://www.topspeed.com/ was almost impossible to view with FF3.

Do you think the "I am a conservative" or the "as a conservative" that appears in virtually every other post might be a giveaway?

McCain wasn't my first or second choice but as you said, that's what we were given. It's hard now a days to tell what a candidate truly believes in or where they will govern from. I think McCain panders to the conservatives only for our vote. I don't think conservatives are in disarray, it's just that we usually don't have a candidate that will campaign and govern from the right.
