Now, I've noticed a pattern with our opponent, and maybe you have too. We've all heard his dramatic speeches before devoted followers, and there is much to like and admire about our opponent. But listening to him speak, it's easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs but not a single major law or even a reform, not even in the state senate.

Of course poochee could do this so much better, but ...

"Devoted followers"; yeah, like she wasn't preaching to the converted.

The bold bit -- excuse me? She criticized his experience? Has he criticized hers?

So now Obama is responsible for what the media says.

I loved it. Awesome speech. Palin is just what McCain needed. McCain is more democrat. Palin will bring many of the republicans back to support this ticket.

Come on guys. Obamas team has been stoning Palin all week. Of course she's going to come back at them. I wouldn't want it any other way. I loved how she spoke of how Obama's group talked her down for being a mayor. She compared being a mayor to being a community organizer, only as a mayor you have to make real decisions. Ha. Good one Sarah.
I see hope for the McCain ticket. Maybe we'll have a real race after all. So much is being spouted about Palin that I do think the Obama camp is worried (and I love it)

Acceptance that without this shot in the arm, McCain wouldn't have stood an earthly. Now that's honesty.

As far as what Palin is goes, 8 words from a film sum it up for me.

BREAKING: Sarah Palin "Winged" Her Speech Because of "Broken" Teleprompter

Halfway through Sarah Palin's speech tonight at the RNC, people following the speech noticed she was deviating from the prepared text.

According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.

Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech.

Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved.

Sarah Palin. Winner.

One big difference: Palin is only 44, beautiful, and she won't be going away anytime soon.

FWIW our country was once run by a forceful right-wing woman. Well, to begin with she ran it; then she ran it into the ground.

A pit bull with lipstick? Something about a silk purse and a sow's ear springs to mind. Then again, I read that she has a beef with pork.

But mainly, wouldn't you agree that Mulder hides his disappointment well? The woman of his dreams and he'll never get the chance.
Good one about Mulder maybe you baited him enough to respond

I thought it was odd how Obama felt he had to compare himself to the person running for VP, isn't he running for President and he even had to go back a page in her resume to get anywheres near his level of experience

Oh I love the criticism of the Obama set when McCain is having the set COMPLETE REBUILT for his speech tonight. So typical. Critisize until you decide to do it yourself and then forget all about your convictions. Ick.

It hasn't been the dems complaining about experience. It's been the republicans. But that must have been wiped from your memory by your leaders.

We love Obama. I love his grass roots experience. I think that's exactly what this country needs. George W scared the hell out of me whenever he talked to a foreign leader- I totally trust Obama to do the right thing.

And let's not forget what all that gubernatorial experience did for GW. He did such a great job making all those great decisions that left our country in such a stable, prosperous state. . Do you guys EVER listen to what you say?

Yeah, how dare McCain have the riser reconfigured so he can walk around instead of standing still.

I have to admit that the Styrofoam Greek pillars gave off a kind of air... of incredulity.

Wow you are so enamored by THE ONE that you cannot recognize a line that was crafted in the Palin speech that was brillant in its form of good humor
