The following spin from the article shows it up for what it is. An attack hatchet job. The left would have condemned her if she had kept the kid out of sight. Anybody who thinks other wise is not living in the real world and seeing how stupid political attacks are now a days.

Quote:
So brandishing a special needs infant as a campaign prop was putting your family off-limits? Pushing your own daughter into the klieglights to divert attention from your own fantastic lies is family-protective?
And he is the moron who I believe started the rumor that the kid was not Palins but was the daughters. A real class act and desirable source he is.

Palin accepts apology but says time for change.Amen.
Posted: 11:39 AM ET
From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney

(CNN) — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is accepting comedian David Letterman's apology over the controversial joke directed at her daughter, but says she hopes "men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."

Palin's comments come hours after the late night talk show host formally apologized for the off-color joke he made last week about one of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's daughters that set off a war of words between the Letterman and the Palin family.

Rep. Bob Lynn: ethics complaints should be dismissed if discussed. This should be interesting.

From Sean Cockerham in Anchorage –

Anchorage Republican Rep. Bob Lynn, a supporter of Gov. Sarah Palin’s, said he’s going to introduce a bill to stop ethics complaints against the governor or members of her staff from being publicly discussed unless the state finds they have merit.

Andree McLeod, who has filed multiple ethics complaints against Palin, said that Lynn was on the wrong track.

I would think you'd be complaining about the waste of money and how it could be better spent to help the poor people of Alaska.... Whats the word I'm looking for....

Costs of dismissed Palin ethics complaints pile up

We've spent pretty close to about a third of a million dollars, and it's getting to be really expensive,"

Palin repays state for some of her children's travel expenses
Posted: 10:35 AM ET

An ethics investigation tied to a complaint over the expenses found no Palin wrongdoing.
(CNN) — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has re-paid her home state more than $8,100 for expenses involving travel by her children.

The Alaska Department of Law is drafting rules, expected by the end of the year, that will define travel reimbursement guidelines for the governor's family.

She's no longer the governor? She no longer runs her state? Thanks for the update.

BTW, just in case you DIDN'T know, there is an extra head charge per passenger for Alaska cruises......do they want tourism or not? My guess is NOT and the cruise lines will be voting with their feet!

Obviously, you didn't read the article

And then there's the issue of the controversial state-imposed head tax -- a per-person fee that's assessed to all Alaska cruise passengers to fund port improvement projects.

Glad I went BEFORE the stupid fee

A side question, are you a Republican? Or just a Sarah fan?

I am neither a republican any longer or a fan of hers. I read the story and it was just another biased hatchet job. I guess you and the writer forgot the economy is kind of in the dumps

It Came from Wasilla
By. Todd S. Purdum .August 2009
Vanityfair

Despite her disastrous performance in the 2008 election, Sarah Palin is still the sexiest brand in Republican politics, with a lucrative book contract for her story. But what Alaska’s charismatic governor wants the public to know about herself doesn’t always jibe with reality. As John McCain’s top campaign officials talk more candidly than ever before about the meltdown of his vice-presidential pick, the author tracks the signs—political and personal—that Palin was big trouble, and checks the forecast for her future.
