i've personally disproven all of those with scientific FACT, lan.

Fact, not idle speculation.

as for teh 7 mm rise in seas, ask the people who were harvesting rice a few years back why they are now harvesting shrimp.

I'll give you a hint: rice don't grow in saltwater. Shrimp do.

What part of "We've made a mess, now, lets try to clean it up" do they not understand?

I'm at a loss, I do despair. It's not funny, it never was.

I don't think that it would do anybody any harm to listen to Leonard Cohen's "Democracy"

The data used to support your assertion is known to be flawed and incomplete.

In addition, the resources required to "clean up" the mess made by humanity (your assertion) will never become available by killing Capitalism, which is clearly the overt goal of those making policy on your behalf.

Goracle: Mayan Civilization Collapsed Because of Global Climate Change, Too

They failed to act on global climate change, too.
Quote:

Let's not end up like the Mayans. (Cancuncd)

Visionary scientist Al Gore is now teaching history...
The Goracle warned America not to end up like the Mayans and fail to heed his chicken little calls on the looming manmade climate crisis.
From the Gore Blog:

Quote:
A new study suggests the Mayan civilization might have collapsed due to environmental disasters:

Quote:
"'These models suggest that as ecosystems were destroyed by mismanagement or were transformed by global climatic shifts, the depletion of agricultural and wild foods eventually contributed to the failure of the Maya sociopolitical system,' writes environmental archaeologist Kitty Emery of the Florida Museum of Natural History in the current Human Ecology journal."
As we move towards solving the climate crisis, we need to remember the consequences to civilizations that refused to take environmental concerns seriously.
The Sun god warned them But they would not listen.

For the second straight year the Earth is, in fact, cooling... not warming.

WASHINGTON – In a major win for environmentalists, a committee of Democratic leaders in the House of Representative voted Wednesday to put Rep. Henry Waxman of California in charge of a key panel that will have oversight over global warming issues in the new Congress.

The House Steering Committee voted 25-22 to put the California Democrat in charge of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, replacing Michigan Democratic Rep. John Dingell, the most senior member in the House.

The House Democratic caucus will vote today. If Waxman wins, it means that two Californians will take leading roles in the debate over global warming. Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer is the head of the Senate's Environment and Public Works Committee, which has jurisdiction over the issue.

House Republicans, meanwhile, re-elected Rep. John Boehner of Ohio as their leader, rejecting Rep. Dan Lungren's bid to replace him.

Not one bit to the science of the situation......a lot to providing solutions, though.
So, there are the neocon deniers that provide no solutions and the Goreites ( ) that provide radical/socialist solutions.
I pee on you both ........
