By the way, has anyone figured out what (tpg) in the thread title is supposed to mean?

indeed, but the cross would be a perfectly acceptable avatar, and irfanview could bring it down to an acceptable size easily.....

the confusion seems to be in thinking it was an acceptable profile picture
in spite of some useful information that candy provided in her email to SoulsRival

is this thing solved yet?

I'm going to post this blurb that folks see (or should see, as it's in RED) when they go to the EDIT PROFILE PICTURE page:

IMPORTANT: Your Profile Picture must be a photo of you. It cannot be a cartoon, sketch, drawing, picture of your car or pet, etc. It must be of YOU. These uploads are monitored and pictures that do not meet the requirements will be removed. Thanks!

Ok, hopefully we've got this solved now.

My picture was not offensive nor was cartoon it was a tasteful design I created & use to compliment my user name (SoulsRival) I refer to the guidelines (uploaded photo's must be of the person,) Upon exploring this site I had seen cartoons as profile pics ect so I didnt think this would be a problem.. When I veiwed the administrator's Profile who sent me this email today I discovered the first page of friends list including Moderators ect had cartoon pictures uploaded as profile pics.

What part of my last email regarding your user photo did you not understand?

We have forum rules, if you don't wish to follow them, please let me know and I'll delete your user account.

User photos MUST BE A PICTURE OF YOU. Period. End of statement. Not a drawing, a sketch, a cartoon, or a symbol.

I've removed it once again.

Have a good day.

It's not discrimination, because she did it to me too.

ME of all people!!!!!

Does that flabberghast you or what?!?!?!?

All I did was try to put up a simple picture I had created of the message "You can not add yoursef to your own ignore list" when I tried to put myself on ignore.

And the very next day I get a NASTY, MEAN, mean and nasty(although I must admit, simultaneously polite and non-judgemental ) email from Cookiegal telling me that I can only use a picture of myself as my profile photo.

I was confused, and hurt. Sure, I cried a little. I mean, who wouldn't???

Alas, this seems a fairly common complaint.

Thank you for taking time out of your busy day to speak for those of us who would otherwise have continued to suffer without a voice.

Viva La Revolucion!
