Ok, I'm going to bite on this.....just because we're in a debate forum here, but, you obviously didn't read that part about having THICK skin when you post in here either. Seems you just want to overlook the rules you like to break, but, an issue like me posting your email address was pounced upon immediately, even though you never acknowledged that you posted mine from the beginning, thereby creating yet ANOTHER rules violation.

If you are serious about the wording that was on your cross, then, pray tell, why didn't you simply ANSWER my email????????????????????? Instead you chose to upload the same thing, in a different way. How does that look? To me it looks like absolute defiance of a reasonable request. I indicated the picture had to be of you, so, what do you do? You upload the cross again, yet again, disregarding the RED LETTERS advising against this

My follow up email asking you what part of my last email you didn't understand was more than reasonable again. Then you shot back your "nice" email to me, with all of your wrong assumptions and accusations regarding my user photo.

Also, just as an FYI to all, Karen, Laura and I take 3 month turns at recieving what we call the "welcome" emails. (Well, we call them other things at times but, I won't post that here ) --- and those include notifications of anyone who uploads, or CHANGES their user photo. We get one email for EACH attempt at this. I believe I had at least 5 for MS SOUL the first time, and another 3 or 4 for the second upload. You guys do the math

And by the way, it's mostly a thankless unpaid job...........
Thankyou Candy and all of the other moderators and administrators for all that you do here at TSG.

I say we add a poll to this thread.

Candy, what do you say about making this thread a sticky?

Let's add a poll and find out what the thread readers think.

Here's my proposal:

"Should this thread be made a sticky?

Option 1. Yes, and nothing else.

Option 2. Yes, and SoulsRival should replace <CWLMST> as the generic pejorative of this forum. As in, "SoulsRival! I just smashed my thumb with the hammer! "

Option 3. No! That's not Nice!

Option 4. No, but we should implement a filter that seeks out all instances of the word "RTFM" on this forum and replaces it with a link to this thread, regardless of whether those threads are in the hardware section, the software section, etc.

Option 5. Post your ideas for implementing the greatest amount of shame possible in the thread"

At first, I thought you were being a bit harsh on her, but she seems to have gotten her hackles up and won't back off and admit to a simple mistake and slightly overblown reaction. So, fire away!

Candy, I was going to thank you also until you had to go a make fun of Tina Fey!

You Betcha, we both speak Sara's language.

Seriously, it is going to be interesting to see what happens in the future with her. I'm thinking someone along the way may groom her so she will appeal to a broader field of people. Just an opinion.

Spot on.. A well-moderated/well-administered site makes things look easy.

It reminds me a little of Bill Cosby Himself "I'm not the boss. Not sure when I lost the position of being the boss. However... I have seen the job, and I don't want it!!"

Again.. being angry is natural. How you channel and deal with that anger... that's the issue.

This has become an interesting thread, possibly because it reveals some of the silent background or flurry of activity that I believe makes this site a home for so many of us. I once left on vacation, and left my business to the employees for two weeks. Upon my return, I was told I could never leave like that again. They had no idea what I did to keep the business running smoothly, until I wasn't there to do so. Kind of like kids who can't stand their parents, until their parents are gone.

In any case, I appreciate all that you do for us, and the cheerfulness, helpfulness, and patience with which you do it.
