Hi Couriant,

On October 9th, Charlie Rose interviewed Michael Moore. Apparently, the interview is not yet up on the web, but if you want the real skinny on Moore's intent and point-of-view about Capitalism - A Love Story try to watch it when it is available.

It has been one year since the financial meltdown. What we need are financial regulations - what has Congress and the Senate done in that time - zippo, i.e. no new financial regulations. Ya can't ask Wall Street to regulate themselves - that would be like the fox guarding the hen house. And we all know that Congress and the Senate don't represent the people in their districts or states - they represent the interests of lobbyists for CORPORATE AMERICA. And now what do we have - financial credit defaults betting on life insurance - they win if you die early!

I am going to try and see the film and will post after that - in the meantime, just ignore the comments of LAN, Stoner, and their ilk as they are blind to what is going on and the most they have to offer are name-calling and labeling of Michael Moore - congratulations guys you have created a new low standard for CD - oh, sorry, you created it a long time ago, its the same old - same old low standard you have always had.

I will give you credit for not posting the typical copy and paste comments.......but something you need to consider is that if new regulation is as ignored as past regulations were under Bush, the outcome is still going to be an unregulated scenario......just a lot more complex.

Thanks for the morning laugh
