Cool Totally Disgusting!
Anyone who doubts the Western world is in complete denial of reality and meltdown of its socio-economic systems needs read no further than this.

See Here:

Here is a man who destroyed massive shareholder and public value, saddled his nation state with mega debt and has the sheer temerity to now try and avoid natural opprobrium and public anger.

Perhaps worse, this type of behaviour demonstrates loud and clear how the law has been high jacked by the wealthy to their whole benefit and to the utter detriment of society, jurisprudence and justice.

The solicitors and barristers who handled this application for Goodwin are playing whore to his whorehouse madam.

This from that article:

Quote:
Super-injunctions - under which even reporting the existence of the injunction is banned - are increasingly being used by powerful corporations and wealthy individuals to stop the media from publishing information.
(I've been saying for years now that wealth is power and those that wield it think they're above everyone else, including the law... )

"Sir Fred, nicknamed Fred "the shred" for his management style"...

Sure it's not due to protecting documents... with a shredder?

It's a gag order. Of such nature that the press isn't even allowed to report on its existence, let alone its reason. Issued by the courts upon application by the person who wants reporting on him/her muzzled.

So post the story in a US paper and it will be available for the world to see on the Internet. "Super Injunction" what a concept and how dubious at best.

Agree, GB: and that is of course, precisely what has happened.

It is fun to read the comments readers have posted on the Telegraph page I cited as a webref.

yeah, Britain is, at times,.....well..............quaint.

Ironically this thing could be dealt with in a British newspaper (despite injunction forbidding it) since a question on it was raised by an MP in parliament. He could do this since he's protected by parliamentary privilege and the media simply quoted him. That's not defiance

Not only having a stupid law but also being incapable of nailing it down, how's that for nuts?
