Arrow Solved: Best Candidate for me
It is often hard to sort through through the garbage and the mud flinging.
Essentially the campaigns are "This is the direction I want to lead America"..or that is the purpose anyway.
Sad thing is...due to all the tripe and garbage often a candidates message is never heard made clear as it is taken out of context, buried, or the candidate just doesnt have fair press.
A good example of this is the internet ....forum and blogs.
Heck right here at this forum...we have threads which are heavily biased for example.

There is a script available which lets you see which candidate is best for you in regard to his or her "This is where I want to lead America"

Many of us do not actually know the position of a candidate on abortion, gun control ,global warming, gay marriage etc...but we pick a guy based upon him or her either being a rep or dem or just did the best job in the garbage flinging contest.

Below is a little quiz to determine who is the best choice for you based upon your shared views with the candidates.

http://www.isidewith.com/

Here are my results

http://www.isidewith.com/results/89486122

82%
Mitt Romney
Mitt Romney Republican

on science issues

67%
Jill Stein
Jill Stein Green

no major issues

64%
Barack Obama
Barack Obama Democrat

on foreign policy issues

44%
Gary Johnson
Gary Johnson Libertarian

on science issues

36%
Virgil Goode
Virgil Goode Constitution

no major issues

46%
American Voters

no major issues.

As we can see its only Romney by a little bit.

This thread is designed to find out who is actually the best candidate for them...after all we should be voting or supporting for someone that shares our ideals and not mudslinging contests.

Or better yet....to actually see the position of the person you are voting for...you could be supporting the devil and may not know it.

Discuss the topics here and who best represents them....Which essentially what voting or supporting a candidate is all about.
Not what dress she wore ...how many children by other families...how rich they were..whether they stumbled in a speech etc.

Be honest while taking the quiz...dont think of yourself{please}..think of what is best for America as whole

Yea, he's pretty much destroyed our foreign policy, the value of the dollar, the economy, and Health Care.

So, I guess he should try for the Cycle.

I liked the questions. They seemed fairly well structured, with adequate options if you did not like one of the three main ones.

Like Clinton, he's doing such a lousy job, there's no way he could get re-elected.

But don't listen to me, I'm not for either major candidate.

Just to see how much the opposing candidates actually are alike

http://www.isidewith.com/obama-vs-romney-on-the-issues

So if we are chopping at one we just as well had be chopping on the other as well for the most part.
People amaze me when they post a link downing a candidate..where their candidate has the same view.

See people are not thinking for themselves they are just followers {a polite way of putting it}

Depending on your metrics of performance, I guess it can go either way. If you are big on social government programs, he has done good. If you are into economic growth and foreign policy, He is doing a lousy job.
However, a sitting president has a slight advantage in a re-election. And so far, Romney has not done a good job clearly identifying why he should be elected.

Truthfully, I'm not either. But I have to pick the one that most aligns with my views and go with that.

Well... I tried to answer as honest as possible. However, I should have spent a little more time adjusting the "how important are the issues" to me. It might have adjusted the percentages a bit.

You can always take it again...but not with the intent of keep trying until your guys reaches the top
I actually took it twice..not because of the results{candidates}...but the actual questions got me to reevaluating myself later on the importance of topics.

Come on guys and gals show the results of your match
Nothing to be ashamed of.
Me the ole Obama basher himself actually shared more of the same views as Obama at 64 percent
than the average yahoo user at 44 percent.

Me think you reps are ashamed to show a high ranking with Obama/and you dems a high ranking with Romney.

But either way you can bet I am going to research the Romney guy before voting for him.
What one says as public position is one thing what one does is actually another...{Obama for instance}
