Gambling With Health Care
Is the economic collapse creating a health care calamity?
http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/512/index.html

Then search for "money as debt" on youtube.com.

Education, money, power, genes, etc.
http://www.pbs.org/unnaturalcauses/hour_01.htm

Improve your odds! At any viable cost!

Physical Labor, poor education, lack of medical care, self-medication, and many more can weaken you. Don't let them.

I am currently going to take two tests which if I pass and get the job will increase my salary considerably more. However securing my education is paramount. I've been posting for a long while on this thread. Any updates from my fellow members? Good or bad?

Indentured servitude sucks. You serve your mortgage, medical insurance, etc. The optimum goal is to find the balance.

So what's up people?

In America, we live to pay. LOL, we pay to live. Don't wait for the lat moment.
Being poor sucks. Simply because it increases your chances of destitution.

Money as Debt II Promises Unleashed.

Greater detail, nice new pictures. Basically a rehash of the older film. Still worth watching.

America is weakened . Health insurance is an idea. Who has the best one? I don't think the USA has the best.

If you are suddenly displaced from your home i.e caught firing, evicted, etc. are you even 'remotely' prepared to find new housing. Have you access to your municipal or state government programs? Do you have the required documentation. You'd be surprised at what a homeless shelter wants to see.

This is a serious issue. At least in my opinion. I've encountered many in my life who have it all and then lost it all.

I have recieved my W2 and I can offically say I am closer to the higher end of this mark;
Middle Class: "$50,000 to $90,000 (Hshlds) & $27,500 to $52,500 (Indvdl)."

YEE HAA! However there is still much to do.

He did everything right and they still squeezed him. Rich, successful, good business, etc. Yet they reduced his credit. LOL, I was rejected for an auto loan and my credit is more or less his. I don't own a business, but I have a stable job and fare amount of savings. So here we are two guys trying to be the prime examples, but we both hosed.

The Economy of a Tent City
Ten weeks after the earthquake, the temporary settlements where Haitians congregated have developed into rich, complex communities. Planet Money's Adam Davidson visits Port-au-Prince's largest tent city -- spread out over what used to be an elite golf course -- and finds a rich, complex economy with more small business competition than before the quake. (Produced by Travis Fox.)

This report is part of a special series on Haiti produced in partnership with NPR's Planet Money. You can listen to a radio version of this story online at npr.org.

Week of 4.2.10
Maximum Capacity
Saving tax dollars—can an innovative program make big cuts in America's prison population?
http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/322/index.html

Everybody I have ever met with a criminal record who has done 3 or more years has served more time afterward. Paying to house someone who is unproductive is a waste of money. It is not logical.

FRONTLINE / World Dumping that PC for an iPad?

April 15, 2010

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontl...m_source=feeds

The cost of having that shiny new tech that you many not really 'need' even to achieve your business. I am in the market for a laptop just to see if I like it and serves my purposes.

If I do buy a laptop and like it I'll try to buy a used, manufacture re-certified, desktop. The desktop for casual gaming mostly.

I love how criminals are able to survive off of our garbage, robbing us because many Americans are too foolish not to encrypt their data. Worse still don't have the common knowledge to erase their drives.

On another subject I am trying to find more articles on changing or flexing social economic classes. I am glad to say that I am making more money, but increased expenditures to.
