Samsung plasma tv problem
I have a samsung SP-P4231. It turns on ok but after a short time the pic shrinks horz & starts to distort. shortly after that it changes to alternating black & white horz lines. shortly after that it goes blank, no pic or sound. After unit cools I can turn back on & repeat all over again.

Probably not much you can do yourself other than to make sure all vents and openings are free of dust and that airflow is not impeded anywhere.

Sounds like there may be some capacitors burnt out on the motherboard.
