Angry Solved: 16 X 9 format HD for photo Story 3
I am having a problem making a slide show using Photo Story 3.
I am only getting a 4 x 3 format output and I would like 16 x 9 to show the photos properly.
My input is 300 original photos each 5m37MB with 4320 x 3240 pixals.
I have looked at the cheeting method described but seems very complicated.
Is there a simple bulk way of doing all photos.
I find photo story 3 easy to use with easy anotating and efects.
Thank you
John

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photo_Story
Quote:
The 'crop' and 'zoom' tool is fixed at 4:3 aspect ratio. To support 16:9 wide screen output (which is possible to obtain at output time using a third-party profile), it is necessary to 'pre-distort' all your imported images by adjusting the image height to 133.33%.

4320 x 3240 originals is not 16x9 as you must know. It appears that Photo Story can't do that for you. They will need to be cropped to that aspect ratio before sending to Photo Story. That can be done by many free programs.
