Well, I went back to hp.com and did fill out a form to email HP under "questions before you buy". I did get an email acknowledgement. Hopefully they will respond. Thank you.

I haven't heard back from HP yet. What I am wondering is why your link to contact HP via email is not working. Keep getting "Problem loading". Maybe you can help me navigate to the right place once at hp.com? I don't imagine I can get the removal tool from anywhere else?

Also, when I right click on Hp Solution Center, it brings me to a file called hpqdirec which is an Application, date modified 10/19/07. CC won't let me remove that either, but it will allow me to uninstall anything else.

Is there a manual way to remove my All-in-One printer software?

Wowser, Thanks. I think your first link is correct. Can you make sure that is for Vista operating system? It does not say.

If you go to http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/s...roduct=3418705

There should be a drop down for you to select the operating system.

Yes, Vista, and Vista 64 bit are both in the dropdown.

DavdA:

Thanks, but the link you gave me leads me to the printer software. I am looking to remove my printer software from a Image Zone Removal tool for Vista 32 bit.

Kind of a strange question as you only need the software removeal tool for Vista. Of course it's dependent on how you worded your email to them.

All I said was I am hoping you can send me the Image Zone Removal tool and gave them the name of my OS and the printer I have. I just now replied with that information to them. We'll see.

I received two emails from HP.
Here is the first:

Thank you for contacting HP Total Care.

After reading your email, I understand that you are using an HP Photosmart C4480 printer and you want the Image Zone Removal Tool so to uninstall my printer software.

Your email is important to us and resolving the issues of customers at the earliest is the greatest reward we strive for. I understand your concern and take the responsibility to resolve this issue using all my resources on a priority basis.

Also, we truly appreciate the trust that you have displayed in our services and us, and assure you that we will certainly try to live up to your expectations at any given point of time.

In order to resolve this issue I request you to perform the troubleshooting steps provided below:

Download Revo Uninstaller on the link below and install the program.

http://www.revouninstaller.com/downl...203;ersion.php

Run Revo to see if it finds the installation of HP Image Zone Express. If it does, right click on the software icon and select Uninstall. During the process you may be asked to delete registry entries, just select all and click delete. Do the same for any left over files and folders if asked.

Note: The above mentioned URL will take you to a non-HP Web site. HP does not control and is not responsible for information outside of the HP Web site.

Now please check the functionality. If the issue still persists then go through the link which I am providing you as an attachment.

This should resolve the issue. If you need further assistance, please reply to this message and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and have a nice day!!!

Here is the second:

Thank you for contacting HP Total Care.

I apologize for the inconvenience which you are facing. I have provided the troubleshooting steps to resolve your issue. After performing the previous steps, if the issue has not resolved, then please go through the attachment (Windows Cleanup Util.zip) of which I am providing in this email.

Now please check the functionality.
