Hi!
My laptop is old (Compaq Evo 1020v). On two earlier attempts to upgrade to SP3 were not successful (My PC crashed! while surfing!) so I have stuck to SP2 without many problems.
Now, I need to burn a DVD and copy images from my laptop to DVD. I downloaded Nero but it is not compatible with Windows XP / SP2. It gave me an error message and installation got aborted.
Ps advise of another software or a solution.

You should have Sonic or Roxio installed in a HP/Compaq .... Does it not work ???
I'd try the freeware CDBurnerXP (I've used before in a pinch) ... or one of These ..
Or just copy to a USB Flash drive
