photos sent via email not showing :((
hi,
my friend sent me some heavy photos, 4 jpg files of 500Kb each, and all i see when i open them is black... what could be the problem??


can the email server screw them because its too big or what?

Are you looking at them in the email program?

What do they look like if you save them and then open them with an image viewer

no
i tired looking at them with acdsee and photoshop,
not only as jpg but as gif and more extensions,
and in photoshop it doesnt open it saying the length is wrong or something, and in acdsee it shows a black screen...

sounds like they got corupted somehow...

probably not because of size but you could have your friend send just one instead of all four

Are you using Netscape?
Is the email from someone that used IE?

I get this from the image you uploaded.

im using IE and i see text instead of pic, the start of the text is this:
