Most of the people at dpreview recommend Inkjet Goodies ink for the Canon Photo printers. I use their ink in my S9000 and have been happy with it. They don’t seem to have cartridges filled with it though.

I have used MIS inks for years in other printers and have been very happy. The only reason I used the Inkjet Goodies on the Canon was because of so many recommendations – I don’t know that the MIS ink wouldn’t have been as good. MIS has refilled cartridges: http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?s.../cartsale.html I have never heard of them distributing anything with poor ink – you really have to trust the reputation of the seller and MIS has a good reputation. I’m sure you can get them for a lot less but you might not like the quality.

If you plan to print a lot learn to refill. It is much cheaper and is easy to do with a Canon.

Slipe--Thanks for the input. I checked MIS real quick and it looks like they don't have Cannon I950 cartriges. Think I'll follow your adivce and to to InkJetGoodies for a refill kit. Frank

I think if you check you will find the i950 and S9100 use the same cartridges and ink as the i900 and S9000. They are the BCI 6 cartridges.

Refilling is better.
