Printing in High DPI
Howdy,
I just got a laser printer not that long ago and I want to print out some buiness cards I've made. I have them the right ratio that I need to print but I don't want to shrink them down and lose all the quality. I know it's capable of high quality. How do I print the larger image I have down in a smaller more dense space?

I take it you are using some sort of software to arrange the cards. Does it not have the capability to print size the cards without downsizing the image file?

The size you print has nothing to do with the size of the file in pixels other than if you don’t have enough it won’t look good. If you currently have the card’s file large enough to fill the full size of a sheet of business paper and tell your software to print that file at business card size it will send all the pixels to the printer and tell it the print size separately. The printer will discard the information it can’t use when it spools.
