Unhappy window's movie maker
I have windows movie maker and rage theater system with All-in-Wonder video card. I am getting video through the Rage theater video but I am getting NO audio and the computer does not seem to recognize the Rage theater audio at all . I get an error message when I tyr to access rage theater audio but if I do not select Rage theater audio I get video and no sound. This is a new Dell system which they had installed in my home since they screwed up and did not install it at the factory, It has NEVER worked and I have gotten the runaround at Dell Would appreciate any help. There are no connections to the audio card on the computer, everything goes through the All-in Wonder card but I do not think I can screw up a single coax connection which is one of the options.

Thanks

I have an All-In-Wonder 8500DV and someone else I know has a very old AIW. In both cases, there should be a wire and plug that goes from the All-In-Wonder card to the Audio In of your sound card...check to make sure all your plugs are in the correct spots. The woman whose AIW card is very old (3+years) always has problems reconnecting when she's moved her computer. I have sat with her and showed her how to move the plug from spot to spot on her sound card and test to make sure it is plugged into the right one...

My card has two plugs, one for Sound In from AIW to soundcard and one for Sound Out.

Also, make sure that when you are configuring the TV, you choose Line In as the sound option. If you've already configured, then the "setup" option on the TV is a little square box with a check mark, then go to Display and choose Initialization Wizard button.

Hope this helps.
