Question graphics importer
I have a photograph saved that I want to print, but it's
ppg (whatever that is) my computer says "can't open, can't find graphics importer" Can anybody tell me how I can get one please??
Also, suddenly my Active Share has gone, where I keep all my photos in albums and I can't download it again. I think Adobe has replaced it. Could anybody recommend something similar. Is Smartdraw Photo good for instance?
Please don't use any hi tech language, I'm a bit of a thicko!
Thanks in anticipation !

What program are you trying to open the picture with?

Could be an MS PowerPoint image..

I checked at http://filext.com/ and it said it may also be Photo Print Gold extension. Did you at one time have this software? Did someone send you this pic?

If someone sent it to you, ask if they can resend in a more generic format (bmp (large but keeps more detail), jpg, etc).

Do you have many in this format? IF you do and you used to use a specific software that created these file extensions, then you may need to reinstall that software to view those files and eventually resave them as more generic file types.

Hope this helps,

MBN

Unhappy graphics importer
what is a graphics importer, and can I download one for free? My husband recieved an email from a friend, and it says we can't view it, because we don't have the right kind of graphics importer. Can someone please help me? Thank you so much.

Cympie,
You will get better responses if you start your own thread.
Hijacking doesn't help anyone.

That aside, What is it that you are trying to open?
What is the extension on the file name? After the dot (.) should be three letters.
