Lost Serial Number for Photoshop
I am a licensed user (through my company) of Adobe Photoshop. We are currently operatiing under Photoshop VII, however, we would like to install our Photoshop III on another suite computer. All other versions are upgrades and apparently I must install the original version III. Apparently the serial number has been lost. Is there way to install III from the CD without the serial number? Thanks, this is driving me nuts.

legally I doubt it...If it required a key the first time it will need one again this time...

If you registered it the first time... call Adobe and plead your case

If you only have a "single copy" license, they are NOT going to help you anyway. You can only have it on 1 machine at a time.

Thanks anyway...I sort of thought this might be the case.

Find Product Key
I had the same problem. I however, had photoshop 6.0 full version. All I had to do was do a search for the serial number and the file popped right up for me. You might try this. Also Belarc Advisor is a free program that you can download which will tell you all the hardware and software loaded on your system, including serial numbers to your software.

Hope this helps! Moonifa

theres a free program on the internet that will check your CD for the serial and tell it to you, it will only work if you have a legally purchased copy, the file is not copyed when you make an .iso of the cd so it has to be original

The Adobe Photoshop CD software that came with a digital camera that I bought was missing the last digit in the registration number.
Fortunately I noticed that the last group of numbers in the provided registration number wasn't fully filled in after keying in the CD regisration number. I tried adding 0,1,2, etc at the end. Fortunately, 2 worked.
It was not a matter of being cut off by a short label, there was plenty of room for one more digit.
