Epson 2400 scanner OFF
I just hooked up my new epson 2400 scanner and it looks great except that it appears there's no way to turn the darned thing off! Does anyone know a way to do this without shutting down the computer and unplugging it? Isn't it bad to leave it on all the time, or is that really no problem?
Thank you! Bev

Although my scanner is a Canon, it doesn't have an on/off switch either. It's power is supplied by the USB port only and it comes on automatically when I start up the computer.

It's made to operate that way so I guess it shouldn't be a problem.

re: Epson 2400 scanner OFF
Thank you buck and Cookie,
No little toggle switch on the back. It has an AC cord as well as the USB connector...
