Unhappy Cant Scan Something
Hi Guys & Gals, I have a problem scanning something. I have some small (4cm high) phials of glitter in differing colours, ranging from pale to bright. I want to scan 7 of them (all will be different colours) with a tube of glue. I dont have any problems scanning bulkier items. When I try to scan them (I put some "clingfilm" down first and I can scan through this with other items so I know the problem isnt here) the scanner will only scan up to them or if they are placed in the middle of the scanner, just a black screen. I have tried putting various pieces of coloured paper over the top but it just scans part of the paper and not the glitter. Can anybody please point me in the right direction on how to overcome this perplexing problem?
Many thanks in great anticipation..........Penelope

How about if you draw a square in the middle of a white piece of paper with a black pen and then put your glitter inside the box? It will give the scanner something more substantial to look for. You can aways crop the box out later.
